SPAHP Alumni Advisory Board Orientation - Proposed Appointment Process 1. Alum applies for position on the Board 2. Applications are reviewed by staff and appointments made by Dean 3. Letter of appointment sent from Dean to new Board member 4. Letter of congratulations/welcome sent from Dr. Barr to new Board member Letter includes the following action items: i. Board Members Responsibilities document for new Board member to sign and return ii. Confirmation of new Board member name for badge, online directory, admissions business cards iii. Request new Board member Biosketch iv. Request size for Board logo apparel item v. Request headshot (color) of new Board member for website OR schedule photo session time at Spring Board meeting Letter would include link to the Board Orientation Manual Board Orientation – When? Recommendation: The Board Orientation would occur as a dinner meeting the night before the Spring Board meeting. New Directors and the Incoming President would attend along with Curt, Brigid, Andrea´. Board Orientation “Manual” This would be online under the Board’s working documents pages: I.
