Pet Awareness & Welfare Services (PAWS) Spay/Neuter Program
PAWS Spay/Neuter Voucher Program covers part of the cost of the pet sterilization surgery for dogs
and cats to pet owners in the Las Vegas area in need of financial assistance due to low-income,
age, health, and hardship in an effort to help decrease the pet overpopulation problem.
Cat Spay/Neuter Co-Pays
$30: Cat Neuter or Spay with Vaccines (FVRCP) and Rabies
Dog Spay/Neuter Co-Pays
Co-pays shown below are for pets 5 months old (4 months if current on vaccines) to 5 years old and for
female dogs under 70 pounds and male dogs under 100 pounds.
Male Dog Neuter $30 (additional $30 for Vaccines (DA2PPV) and Rabies)
Female Dog Spay $40 (additional $30 for Vaccines (DA2PPV) and Rabies)
$50: Pitbulls and Chihuahuas (purebred male or female) with Vaccines (DA2PPV) and Rabies
Co-pays are subject to change based on funds available at the time.
fSurgery includes pre-anesthetic exam, IV catheter, anesthetic monitoring and all pain medication
pre-& post operative, and nail trim. Additional fees apply for pregnancy, dogs in heat, hernias, and
males over 100 pounds/females over 70 pounds. Co-pays are paid directly to the clinic at time of
surgery. Additional fees or services that may be required by the veterinarian or that you would like
for your pet (such as microchip implant) are not covered under this program and can be arranged
directly with the veterinary clinic at your own cost.
* Approval and the receipt of a voucher does not guarantee your pet will receive the
spay/neuter surgery. It is up to the veterinarian to decide if the surgery is suitable for your pet.

You will be notified by e-mail or phone within 2 weeks. The voucher will include the clinic’s
information that will be performing your pet’s surgery. The voucher is valid for 30 days.

Upon receiving the voucher, please call the veterinarian office listed to schedule appointment.

Bring in printed voucher, proof of your pet’s immunizations (if current), and co-pay.

manner pertain to, concern, involve, or relate to the spaying, neutering, or other medical services of
my/our pet, including such pet’s death or injury, and I/we agree to indemnify and hold harmless all entities
and persons being released hereunder from and against any and all actions, causes of actions, claims,
demands, assertions, contentions, suits, damages, expenses, and losses resulting from the foregoing
activities.

I understand that an approval of the voucher from Pet Awareness & Welfare Services (PAWS) does not
