8th Grade Advanced World History This course offers an overview of significant people, events, and issues throughout world history. The summer assignment for this course is a three-part assignment. This will count as your first assignment grade. This assignment will be due during the summer. (See school website for due date.) In addition, the vocabulary and map assignments will be due the second day of classes. You will also have an assessment on the vocabulary and map on the second day of the school year. Summer Assignment: Part I (25 Points) WORLD RELIGION CHART Using the sources provided, complete the chart below regarding five world religions. In this essay, you should compare and contrast (how they are similar and dissimilar) the two world religions from your Venn diagram. This should be in your own legible handwriting (a computer-generated document will NOT be accepted). Write your name at the top of your essay. Use only the sources I have provided. Since I have provided the sources, you do not need to include citations for this essay. Points will be deducted for any grammatical and spelling errors.
