September 2015 Issue 1 Indigenous Student Association (ISA) The ISA is a student-run, independent, volunteer organization whose vision is to build, amplify and maintain Indigenous voices and concerns at Ryerson University and in Toronto. This is done in the spirit of cooperation and global community, we aim for the solution of problems faced by Indigenous peoples in the areas of human rights, culture, the environment, development, education and health. Our goals include: Representing an Indigenous voice in the Ryerson Student Union, Representing Indigenous students on campus, Uniting the diverse Indigenous nations, To develop positive relationships with the ISA, and To support and enhance positive awareness of Indigenous issues within Ryerson.
