Public Notice. St. Luke’s Church, Grayshott, Hampshire – proposed reuse of graves for new burials. Notice is hereby given that St. Luke’s Church, Grayshott, Hampshire, is considering seeking formal approval from the Diocese of Guildford for the reuse of thirty-nine existing graves, within the churchyard of St. Luke’s Church, for future burials and the possible subsequent internment of cremated remains. The reuse of the graves might require the relocation of existing memorials and gravestones. The thirty-nine existing graves form two plots that have been identified for possible grave reuse, based on the criteria that no burial or internment of cremated remains have taken place within them for at least 75 years. The details of those laid to rest within the two plots are shown in the table below. St. Luke’s Church would like to hear from the heirs, executors or any family members of the persons listed in the following table, and the parishioners of St. Luke’s who might wish to comment on the grave reuse proposals, by Friday, 28th November 2014 :Grave Name and former address of deceased (where location address is known). identifier.
