Master’s Degree Program in Space Science and Technology, academic year 2015-2016
The Program consists of a Major in Space Robotics and Automation (25 cr), completed at Aalto University, a Minor
subject at another university in Space Science and Technology (60 cr), completed at JMUW and LTU, as well as
Methodological principles (5 cr), Elective studies (0-1 cr), and the Master’s thesis (30 cr) completed at Aalto
University. After completing the 120 ECTS credits program, students will
-
have very good knowledge in Space Technology and Space Robotics, Space and Atmospheric Physics,
Astrophysics and Planetology,
have a strong background for research and development work in space and space related fields,
have good skills in oral and written presentations of scientific and technical materials in English,
have qualifications for collaboration and leadership with responsibility,
have international experience as well as knowledge and understanding for other cultures after studying at
three of the SpaceMaster Consortium universities: Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Luleå
University of Technology and Aalto University.
