Course Title: B.A in Industrial Design

Objective of course:
The purpose of stage three is to develop relevant self-directed solutions in
and instill each student a flexible approach to products, services and
interactions. Student are encouraged to take full responsibility for the
scheduling and management of the whole design process reinforcing the
need to consider issues and requirements relating to user-centered
research, informed creative solutions and manufacturing technologies.
Prerequisites: Minimum entry requirement of 120 ECTS in a cognate area
or equivalent programme of study.
Course contents:
Design Studies 3 (30 Credits) CAD 3 (10 Credits) Computing for Design 3
(10 Credits) History Theory of Design 3 (10 Credits)
All subjects mandatory
Teaching methods: Lectures, Supervision, One-to-one tutorials, Workshop
Demonstrations, Group work
Assessment methods: Continuous Assessment, Design Project
Assessment, Written Submissions, Design Project(s) / Public Exhibition
Language of Instruction: English
Admissions requirements: 120 ECTS in cognate area or equivalent
