Unit Statement: The student will talk about their leisure activities and how they can help at
home having fun.
Essential Outcomes: (must be assessed for mastery)
1. The Student Will extend the vocabulary related to the topic.
2. TSW make a visual project ‘À la mer. À la montagne. À la campagne. En ville’.
3. TSW use the pattern ‘faire du/de la/de l’/des’.
4. TSW create the list of verbs that may be used with infinitives.
5. TSW revise the possessive adjectives.
6. TSW use and understand the 24 hour clock.
7. TSW make a presentation ‘À cette heure dans le monde...’
8. TSW discuss what we do to help at home having fun with classmates.
Introduced/Practice Outcomes: (See Course Outcomes)
1. The Student Will review ‘jouer à + sports, games’ and ‘jouer de + instruments’
patterns.
2. TSW choose activities for different places.
3. TSW create a visual project related to the essential outcomes (booklet, poster,
presentation).
4. TSW practice speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.
5. TSW review Present Tense of selected verbs.
