The Columbia County Rotary is hosting the 2013 Barbara Bullis Memorial Golf Tournament, a major
fundraiser for Columbia Pacific Food Bank, on Monday September 9th, 2013. The event will once again be
held at the beautiful Wildwood Golf Course in Portland, Oregon.
Columbia County Rotary and Columbia Pacific Food Bank would like you to consider being a sponsor for this
event.
As you may be aware, Columbia Pacific Food Bank (CPFB) is the regional food bank for Columbia County
serving 24 independent hunger relief agencies including five emergency food pantries throughout the county.
In 2012, CPFB distributed emergency food boxes to over 33,000 individuals. The Community Meals
program served hot meals to over 10,000 individuals, including children, adults, and the elderly. The
demand for emergency food continues to increase throughout Columbia County. While supermarket prices rise
for the average consumer, CPFB continues to provide 5 lbs. of food for every $1 donated. This means more
food for those in need.
The monetary sponsorships are the most crucial to the success of this event. As you can see monetary
sponsorships benefit the food bank the most and incur benefits for different levels of sponsorship. CPFB
is a non-profit organization that relies on donations and fundraisers to be able to fulfill the needs of the
people of Columbia County. Whatever you decide to do, please remember you are helping us to fight hunger,
“because no one should be hungry.”
In addition to helping CPFB, a percentage of the proceeds will also support Columbia County Rotary who is a
strong contributor to various organizations and schools throughout the county. Rotary provides Vocational
Scholarships to the local high schools; sponsor an international student exchange program, donates funds and
volunteer with the local schools, organizations and charities; along with sponsor a building on the fair grounds.
Enclosed, you will find information for registering a team as well as a highlight of the benefits associated with
each level of sponsorship. We are also offering a corresponding level of sponsorship based on in-kind donations
to the tournament. If you choose to donate a prize or make a monetary sponsorship to this event please fill out
the corresponding sponsorship page.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
The tournament will be in a Shotgun format. In addition there will be special prizes for: Hole-in-One contest,
men and women longest drive, closest to the pin. Mulligans and Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on
day of tournament. Participants limited to 128 golfers.
Cost to register: $320 per team (includes two carts); Individual registration ($90) is welcomed and will be
assigned to team. Lunch included for all players.
Tee off time: 7:30am
Registration opens at 6:30am
Pre-registration with pre-payment will accelerate the check in process. Registration with payment for each
foursome due by August 29, 2013 (or first 32 teams paid and registered).
* Each player who is registered and paid in full by Aug. 29 will be entered into a special drawing!
