Registration for National Qualifications Framework
Institutions are required to complete the table below to plan their submissions for Institutional
Listing and Qualifications Placement on the NQF. For submitted qualifications please note the
following:

List only the national qualifications that comply with NQF requirements. National qualifications
should:

have a valid qualification approval by the relevant regulatory bodies

be / have been developed and delivered in the Kingdom of Bahrain

have assessments that fit for purpose and summative

be internally quality assured within the institution

have at least 10 notional hours of learning

The submitted form will not be considered as a commitment neither by the institution nor the GDQ.

The institution should consider submitting the Institutional Listing application at least 4 months
before submitting the first application for qualifications placement. For institutions undergoing
quality assurance reviews by the relevant directorates of the General Directorate for Reviews (GDR),
they should have passed the latest quality assurance review before applying for institutional listing.

It is recommended for the institution to plan their submissions for Qualifications Placement over a
span of years (e.g. 2-3 years)
