1. Cut out and fold the helicopter as directed.
2. Hold the helicopter high into the air and drop it. Watch the direction that the wings spin.
3. Now, fold the blades of your helicopter in the opposite direction. This is something that you purposefully did
to the helicopter.

Activity Two
Procedure
1. If paperclips are added one at a time to the body of the helicopter (increasing the mass) and then you drop
the helicopter, how do you think the increased mass will affect the way the helicopter flies/spins? (can be
different from your partner’s guess)
