Gist of Professional work experience in The Gulf:
ZELAN HOLDINGS (M) SDN.BHD:
Currently Working with in Abudhabi with Zelan Holdings, a Malaysian company, which is
executing the construction of a mixed use residential commercial project called as Meena Plaza,
in Mina area, Abudhabi, having 7 storeys of commercial floors and 4 towers above the podium,
from December 2009 till date as a Person – in – charge (tower2 and 3 –architecture)
handling and managing the architectural and interiors works of 2 towers. The total contract sum
is 1billion AED. The total architectural and interiors work of these 2 nos. of 36 storeyed tower is
being managed with a team of four site engineers and six site supervisors controlling several
other sub contractors who are working in the towers.
Due to the current global economic crisis, the project has slowed down for non receipt of
payment form the client for the last 5 months. .
ALMOAYYED GROUP, BAHRAIN:
Worked with Almoayyed Group, Bahrain, from May 2008 to November 2009 as a
Project Manager having individually handled a contract worth 2.7million Bahraini Dinars. The
total work of interiors of a 19 storeyed tower for a Five star hotel called FRASER SUITES,
BAHRAIN was managed along with a team of six site supervisors and one site engineer
controlling several other sub contractors who were working totalling to a manforce of around
350 workers.
My scope of work involved :
 Getting quotes from Sub contractors, local vendors & International suppliers.
 Negotiation on price & finalisation of subcontracts, suppliers.
 Interaction and official correspondence with consultants, Quantity surveyors, MEP
contractors, Client representatives, Operational managers.
 Attending weekly progress meetings, monthly management level meetings, updating site
progress and related informations.
 Prepare CVI’s, VO’s, MAC’s etc. and get approvals for the same from the consultant,
QS, etc.
 Transferring instructions to Site engineer and site supervisors, subcontractors, etc.
 Periodical checking of work quality, safety measures, discipline among workers,etc.
 Creating a healthy atmosphere among all working staff and workers, motivating workers
occasionally, and ultimately give a effective handover of the total project in the stipulated
timeframe.
Several other office interiors in Bahrain Financial harbour and retail outlets in Bahrain city
centre.
APPAREL GROUP, DUBAI:
Having worked with APPAREL GROUP, DUBAI , I gained a tremendous exposure of
various international shopping malls, understanding new materials and design concepts while
working for the opening of famous international fashion brand stores like Tommy Hilfiger,
Hilfiger denim, Bally, Kenneth Cole, Kenneth Cole reaction, Aldo, Aldo Accessories,
Spring, Raoul, Charles and Keith, Nine west, The athlete's foot, Jeans west, Costa coffee,
Ralph Lauren, etc. ranging from 2000sft to 40,000sft in successful shopping malls like Deira
City centre, Dubai Festival city, Mall of Emirates, Dubai, Muscat city centre, Oman,
Bahrain city centre, Bahrain working as a Project Manager (Overseas) with an in house
projects team under Montreal Trading L.L.C, from May 2007 to April 2008, as a Project
Manager, interacting and coordinating with International Principal Brand architects and Mall
management retail delivery team, and getting work done from approved contractors, after
negotiating rates and finalizing the contracts, in conformance with quality standards.
Gist of Professional work experience in India:
SANDERSON GROUP, INDIA
Currently working with Santec fabricators (I) pvt. Ltd., a division of SANDERSON
GROUP, an Australian based Company, as a Project Manager from 9th August 2010 till date
in the Projects Department, individually handling huge mall and office interior finishing projects
of values upto 27 crores.
I have been working closely with the QS department, accounts department, and the
management, giving quotations for bidding new works, working out internal costing, official
correspondence with clients, meeting with clients, site and project management handling about
10 members of the site staff and about 250 workers, executing projects in Greater Noida for
The Grand Venezia Mall and at Solaris in Andheri, Mumbai for Ackruti City, also overlooking
MEP coordination for these projects.
FUTURE GROUP, INDIA
Loved working with Kshitij Investment Advisory Company, the Projects Division of
Pantaloon Retail India Ltd., part of FUTURE GROUP, India's no.1 Retail Company as a
Project Architect from September 2005 to April 2007 in the Projects Department,
coordinating with international architects, Like BENOY, etc., local architects like P.G.PATKI &
ASSO., municipal architects, and various other consultants for the design coodination of 16
different malls located at Ahmedabad, Baroda(2), Bombay Central, Cochin, Indore, Jaipur,
kolkatta, Lucknow, Madurai, Mysore, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Trivandrum, Vile Parle,
Vizag, all over India ranging from a magnitude starting of around 2,00,000 sft. To 9,00,000 sft.
Here I developed my ability to handle big size multiple projects simultaneously, keeping
a track of all requirements of the project from Leasing, services, structural, imagibility, design,
municipal approvals and commercial point of view.

Enjoyed working with Della Tecnica Group, India's no.1 I.S.O. 9001-2000 interior
turnkey solutions company as an Architect - Project Manager from September 2002 to
August 2005 in the projects department, individually heading a team of site supervisors, civil
contractors, electricians, carpenters, labourers, etc. for the execution of residential and retail
interiors in Bandra, Dadar, and corporate office interiors for projects in Bangalore, Chennai,
and 5 star Hotel interiors at Vizag, having a varied magnitude of 5000sft to 22,000 sft. Here I
developed my ability to get work done from subordinates in local and outstation projects
arranging for the various requirements of the project, procuring materials locally keeping a track
of the available budget, and interacting with Clients, also taking care of various formalities like
obtaining TIN number, clearing octroi, etc, in other states.
MONARCH ASSOCIATES, INDIA
Worked with Monarch Associates from June 1999 to June 2002 as an Architect,
designing residential bungalows, residential buildings on society plots, residential cum
commercial buildings, hospitals, retail shops, etc., having an area ranging from 500sft.to
8000sft., getting approvals from local municipal authorities after successful understanding and
implementation of the local byelaws, extracting the best possible F.S.I, thereby getting
maximum benefit for the builder, simultaneously interacting with contractors, construction
material vendors, and thus got overall exposure to the architectural and construction industry.
KULDEEP SOHAL AND ASSOCIATES, INDIA
Worked with Kuldeep Sohal and Associates as an Assistant Architect from Nov
1998 to May 1999 assisting him for ongoing interior projects of Skumars, Lower Parel
spanning an area of around 5000 sq.ft. getting my first exposure to actual project handling &
understanding the nitty-gritty's of interior projects discovering the various materials available
in markets and understanding the market rates.
