03-03-2014 INFORMATION ON RESTRICTION OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE (ROHS) DIRECTIVE Cal Test Electronics is committed to reducing or eliminating hazardous material from its test and measurement products, and to promote recycling or reuse. We are working to reduce the substances established by the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU, which restricts the use of six substances in electrical and electronic products. Per 2011/65/EU or RoHS 2, the six substances and their maximum concentrations are: (Maximum concentration values tolerated by weight in homogeneous materials) Lead (Pb) (0.1 %) Mercury (Hg) (0.1 %) Cadmium (Cd) (0.01 %) Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI) (0.1 %) Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0.1 %) Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0.1 %) To this end, while continuing our efforts to reduce or eliminate all above noted materials, Cal Test Electronics test and measurement products are fully compliant with the EU RoHS directive by virtue of classification under Category 9, Industrial Monitoring and Control Equipment, which is currently out of the scope until extension to on 22-July2017. Cal Test Electronics is working closely with supply chain partners to assure compliance to restricted material requirements of all products and materials supplied by partners.
