PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND PUPPY GUARANTEE
The following agreement is between White Diamond Labradors (breeder), hereafter also referred to as “Seller” and
PURCHASER NAME hereafter referred to as the “Purchaser”.

In consideration of purchase price of $1,500, the seller transfers LIMITED rights and privileges to the purchaser. ALL
responsibilities associated with the ownership of this FEMALE puppy resulting from a breeding between two purebred
AKC registered Labrador Retrievers with parent Dogs being the following:

White Diamond Labradors makes every attempt to research the backgrounds of our sires and dams, and if applicable,
any litter they may have produced, to ensure that they are sound before we breed them. It is impossible to state that
any given dog will be completely free of genetic imperfections. Just as each human has imperfections, so will each dog.
However, we feel that by adhering to our stringent standards, we reduce the odds of producing a defective pup or litter.
We offer these puppies as “white” Labradors; however, puppies may lighten or darken in color as the puppy matures.
White Diamond Labradors offers the purchasers of our pups the following puppy guarantee, provided the purchaser
complies with the terms of this agreement.
BUYER RESPONSIBILITY
The buyer agrees to take good care of this puppy, providing proper attention, food, water, housing, vaccinations, and
medical attention throughout its lifetime. The dogs outside play area shall be safe and secure with a fenced in yard. No
“cages”, “pens”, or chains. If the dog is found to be allowed to run freely, or found to be neglected in any way, abused or
allowed to live in dirty poor conditions, or to be in poor health condition resulting from the buyers neglect, the seller has
the right to take possession of the dog with no refund to the buyer.
If for any reason the buyer can no longer keep this dog, the buyer agrees to give the seller first chance to take the dog
back. In the event the dog is sold to another person, the buyer will notify the seller with the name and address of the
new owners. No changes can be made to this contract unless authorized in writing by both parties. This contract is legal
even if not notarized. If any disputes should arise, they will be handled under the laws and jurisdiction of Iowa in
Greene County at the buyers’ expense.
PUPPY GUARANTEE
The seller certifies that upon receipt, the puppy is in good health and has been vaccinated and wormed according to the
accompanying health record provided by the seller. This guarantee is valid only for the original buyer and is not
transferrable. No transfers in ownership may occur. The dog must not have sired / whelped a litter.
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian at buyers’ expense within 3 days from the date
of possession. Buyer must notify seller within 3 days if the puppy is given less than a clean bill of health. Seller reserves
the right to have the puppy re-examined by a veterinarian of the seller’s choice at the seller’s expense. Conditions that
are considered minor, correctable, a breed related minor condition, or a condition that will go away as the puppy
matures is not covered. This guarantee is extended to the puppies first birthday for life taking genetic conditions, or life
taking genetic defects.
If the seller’s veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy, for reasons beyond stated contract, the buyer must return
the puppy to the seller within the 3 day possession period, at buyers expense, along with the AKC papers transferred
back to the seller’s name. A comparable puppy will be exchanged for the puppy. If one is not available, the buyer will
receive the first available comparable puppy.
Seller does not accept any responsibility for harm that comes to the puppy after the buyer takes possession or from
shipping.
HIP DYSPLASIA
Both parents of said dog have been diagnosed for Hip Dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) with a
rating of “good” or “excellent”.
This guarantee is extended for 25 months from the date of birth. If the puppy is suspected of having hip dysplasia any
time prior to 25 months, x-rays must be done at the owner’s expense and submitted to the OFA for evaluation. Results
of this evaluation must be lower than borderline. In the unlikely event that this should happen:
1) The reports must be sent from the OFA to the seller and must state the condition is genetic, not environmental,
within 2 weeks of the analysis. We retain the right to have our veterinarian review reports, and give their
opinion on this matter.
2) Notarized copies of regular veterinarian check-ups must be provided by the veterinarian to the seller.
3) AKC ownership papers and/or registration papers must be returned to White Diamond Labradors by mail.
We will replace the puppy with a comparable puppy as soon as the next litter is born, if loss of life is due to said above
reason(s).
 If transportation is needed to get replacement puppy to the purchaser, original purchaser is responsible for all
costs.
 Breeder (seller) pays no medical costs incurred after puppy leaves sour premises. We do not pay for any medical
treatment. We do not pay for any treating or diagnosing of the puppy that may be done for any reason.
 We do not give any cash refunds for the price or partial price of the puppy.
Upon satisfactorily completing required steps, a replacement puppy will be given as soon as one becomes available.
*Purchaser may have to wait a period of time for comparable puppy to become available.
No other conditions, diseases, or conditions are covered in this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover internal or
external parasites, improper jaw bite, regrowth of dewclaws, undescended testicles, or anything else not mentioned in
this guarantee. Seller does not, and cannot guarantee future size, dimension, color, and temperament, freedom from
any defects, hunting abilities, or breeding ability of this puppy.
ALL SALES AND DEPOSITS ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS. NO REFUNDS.
I the undersigned purchaser, have READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE with the terms of this contract and accept full
responsibility for the health and well-being of this puppy.
