The TASK: Using your French/English dictionary, create a picture dictionary.
You are to select a French word (nouns are recommended) for each letter of the alphabet. You
must also indicate whether the word is masculine (le) or feminine (la). If the word begins with a
vowel, you have it easy, you will use l’ before the word.
When you have all 26 French words, you are going to create a picture dictionary:
 Using 11 X 17 paper, fold two sheets in half. The front page will be your cover.
 For the remaining pages, separate each folded side into four sections.
 In each section, write the letter, the French word, and draw a picture to illustrate that
word.
 All pictures should be coloured and all words should be in ink.
