Welcome to TEAM HURRICANE! First off we want to THANK YOU – your children are extremely polite. The attitude seems overall positive and everyone seems to want to get involved. We believe that students will enjoy their middle school experience the most if they take the time to get involved and join a club or two. Students should watch the morning announcements to ensure that they don’t miss out on any opportunities. We have started with our curriculum in all classes. Each week we will send home what concepts were covered that week and what we are hoping to cover in the upcoming week. For daily homework, you can find that on each teacher’s website. Our team encourages the responsible use of technological devices in the classroom such as ipads, ipods, laptops, etc for academic purposes. If you child has access to such devices, please ensure that you complete the privately owned devices form on the school website. If child found irresponsible or use without permission, the teacher may remove device for the remainder of the day. Please ensure to complete all other necessary eforms on our school website for emergency purposes. http://www.sd43.bc.ca/middle/summit/Parents/Forms/Pages/default.aspx Happy Thanksgiving!
