COMPARE DIFFERENT TREATMENT MODALITIES FOR SUBSTANCE USE AND CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS AND DEFINE OUTCOMES Compare the efficacy of different inpatient vs. outpatient vs. other treatment modalities for physicians and other health care professionals Evaluate the transition from DSM IV to DSM-V and the application to physician health programs Discuss prevention strategies for the prescription drug and accidental overdose epidemic 3. Presentations may be grouped into related sessions. Individual presentations will be followed by time for panel questions and discussion. Presentations are likely to be of 20-30 minutes duration, and handouts are encouraged. Workshop Session: Interactive sessions designed to improve skills and knowledge among those working in the area of physician health. Subject matter is open but should be designed to address specific, topical issues. Workshops may range from 60-120 minutes and handouts are encouraged and presenters are responsible for providing handout materials onsite. Poster Session: Written presentation of data-based research. Presentations will allow for discussion between the author and interested parties in an informal setting. Posters should be easily readable from a distance of one yard, and should be prepared to use an allocated space of one yard. Handouts are encouraged and presenters are responsible for providing handout materials onsite.
