Chamber’s Leadership Fredericksburg program announces 2016 Class Media Release Date: Aug. 03, 2015 Media Contact: Dawn Haun, Communications Manager (540)373-9400, dawn@fredericksburgchamber.org FREDERICKSBURG – The Chamber’s Leadership Fredericksburg program is pleased to announce the 2016 Class, which runs from September 2015 through May 2016. Sessions occur throughout the Fredericksburg Region and include in-depth leadership skills development and meetings with various industry and community leaders. In addition, each Fellow will be paired with a trained mentor from the business community who will support his or her progress through the program. The participants will divide into teams to partner with an area nonprofit on an Action Learning Project. Each team will present “deliverables” – concrete results – to the nonprofits next May. Upon graduating in May, members of the 2016 Class may join the Leadership Fredericksburg Alumni Association and have opportunities to serve on the Leadership Advisory Board, mentor future participants, take a leadership role in the Alumni, and help implement future programs. The Chamber will partner with Dr. David Corderman with Academy Leadership Associates and Dr. J.R. Flatter with Flatter and Associates to plan and implement the program. Mary Washington Healthcare is serving as the program’s Title Sponsor.
