Justification:
The popularity of these classes, the need for students majoring in other subjects to take upper-division electives, and the
very limited number of faculty in the Psychology program are making it almost impossible for Psychology majors and
Integrated Studies majors who have selected an emphasis in Psychology to get into the classes they need to stay on track
for graduation. Hopefully, in the near future, additional faculty can be hired so this restriction is not necessary, but right
now it is if we are to have a viable baccalaureate program. There is precedent for this restriction: the Business program
restricted upper-division courses only to majors for many years.
