On September the 16th the king of Ostrag died. Initially he left the country to his oldest son, Fredrick, leaving the other son, Theodore, with nothing. Eventually Frederick decided to split Ostrag, one part for him and one for his brother. Frederick kept the western part that kept the name Ostrag. Theodore got the eastern part and renamed it into Borihn. At first there was peace between the countries, but then Theodore decided to send his arch mage and his servants to the border and ordered them to use black magic to create a gap between the two countries. Frederick was burning of anger, but not only Frederick. The black magic awakened an ancient legend. It awoken something deep within the ground, it awoken something on the highest mountain and it awoken something in the deepest forest. The legend became true. The dragons of Isomny have awoken! As reaction to this threat Frederick declared war to his younger brother. And on the same day the armies of Ostrag marched towards the border. Frederick had ordered a full shutdown of the border and the creation of a bridge so his soldiers were able to reach their army. Meanwhile in the capitol city of Borihn, Askrath, the black city. Theodore called up a meeting. All the nobles of Borihn were invited. Among them were the Malkinsons family, a very rich family who owned the mines around the city, Yusuf A'kribaral, the leader of a local organization and the general of Theodore's armies, Philippe Dormody. In secret they decided to send an assassin to murder king Frederick of Ostrag. In the north of both Ostrag and Borihn there was a huge forest, since the gap was created this forest was divided in two parts. After the secret meeting Yusuf went up north to the forest. His thoughts on the situation in which both countries were was slightly different from both Frederick and Theodore. While the kings were at war he understood that there was another problem. One that could be the end of the entire world if there wouldn't be acted quickly. He went in the forest to visit the wood elves to discuss the forest dragon. The elves never interested themselves for the conflicts in the world of men. They kept to themselves in their forests, living happily their lives, day after day. But with the war, the gap and the rise of the dragons they became angry! Yusuf recalled that he had noticed moving branches en fast shadows outside the forest. When entering the forest he did not come far. He was held back by a strange magic. He knew what it meant, he was not welcome. The leader of these elves was the witch Talegia. She was as cold as ice and yet as beautiful as the brightest star. She looked upon Yusuf and decided that he had to be set free as long as he didn't leave the forest. Alongside the war there was another problem that bothered him. High in the fiery mountains the dwarves became restless. Since the war has started they turned up at the strangest locations in the kingdom of Ostrag. The dwarves always were a peaceful crowd, but the war made them restless. They were bringing hirelings from the north and from the west to the mountains. Something was brewing there, and whatever that was, it didn't feel well. Both Frederick and Theodore wanted the war to be over. They assembled their forces an marched for towards great fields, there the destiny of Ostrag and Borihn would be decided. Frederick led his armies forth while Theodore sat on his horse behind his armies. Theodore was never a great warrior, all his victories were done by his most dangerous servant, the arch mage. Somewhere in the battle, when Frederick's armies were on the win, the arch mage came forth, shielding himself from any attackers and walked straight up to Frederick. Darkness shrouded the sky and at the moment that the arch mage prepared to strike a white light came from within him. The light cleared the sky and the arch mage sunk in to its very core. It was Yusuf who had saved Frederick and destroyed this evil whit the help of the wood elves. Theodore fled to the north and never returned, Ostrag was made whole again and the gap closed. But with the gap gone and Ostrag being the same, the dragons were still awoken, not to mention the dwarves that kept brewing up strange sounds and lights from their mountains. Frederick sought council with the elves while Yusuf gathered his guild. When Yusuf returned he explained that he was the leader of the famous Explocary guild, a group of people who had mastered every weapon that ever existed. The wood elves returned to their forests and dealt with the dragon that lived there. Talegia spoke towards the dragon and requested it to get the two other dragons to return back into their endless sleep. Yusuf stood there and witnessed how the dragons obeyed. The dragons of Isomny had found peace. But things never ended, from then on Ostrag has been at war with the dwarves who scourged over hundred villages up to today, with more to follow. Yusuf had been promoted, he is now the general of Fredericks armies, in the hope that he might find a solution to this war which otherwise would be endless.
