Any member who wishes to apply for Outstanding Exhibitor must submit:
This application (Form A).
A story about yourself (written on your own paper). Story should be at 1-2 Pages long.
A copy of your Project Report.
A copy of your Personal Development Report.
Submit Picture of yourself and your horse/horses.
The above five items should be contained in a report cover or folder and are due in the Horse
Show Office at the Stanislaus County Fair on or before 5:00 PM on June 1st or the next business
day if June 1st falls on a weekend. Please check off each item in the boxes above that are
included in your folder.
Observations by judges may be done on any or all of the three days during the 4-H Horse Show
(Form C). Interviews will be scheduled by the judges. A representative of the committee will
contact you to set up the interview on Tuesday, Western Day.
DO NOT FORGET TO TURN IN FORM B – COMMUNITY SERVICE ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY AT
5:00 PM OF THE STANISLAUS COUNTY 4-H/FFA HORSE SHOW.
Points will be awarded to exhibitors in six areas. See the Judges Score Sheet (Form E) for a
breakdown of how points are awarded. A tie for Outstanding Exhibitor will be broken by
Showmanship placing, then highest Placing/Awards, then by total Interview Score.

and during the Stanislaus County Horse Fair: Areas of community service participation include,
but are not limited to: Passing out ribbons, painting jumps, working the gate during the show,
