Anyone Winter in Yuma, Arizona? Rail Roadrunners of Yuma Invites you to visit and perhaps join them in operating and enlarging their permanent HO layout. We are a fairly new and quite small, two year round and four or five Snowbirds from the US and Canada, group of railroad enthusiasts with interests in rail-fanning, model building, model railroading in N and HO scales, On30 gauge and for some, 4 wheeling in the desert. If any, or all, of these interests attract you, we encourage you to join the 80,000 Winter Visitors to the Yuma Valley and its many RV parks and activities. Our original 5’ x 10’ “portable” layout is now housed in a 16’ x 26’ air conditioned room accessible to us most any time and is being enlarged with 2’ wide legs along both long walls with turn-around loops. Specifications: HO scale standard gauge -- code 83 Atlas flex -- Peco #6 turnouts -- 23” minimum radius on original layout, 30” on new -- 1.8% maximum grade -- scenery opened up to allow UP #4005 Big Boy and SP Daylight to operate -- DC /DCC operation with beginning Easy DCC.
