INLAND COASTAL AQUATIC CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Barracuda Boosters Club (BBC) is proud to offer scholarships to Inland Coastal Aquatics Club high school seniors
in recognition of their dedication to the sport of swimming and ICAC. Graduating high school seniors who have been a
member of Inland Coastal Aquatic Club for at least three years, have demonstrated team spirit while members of
ICAC, and who plan to enroll at an accredited post-secondary junior college, college, or university shall be eligible for
this award. Financial need is not criteria for selection.
Funds for this award shall be administered and awarded by the Barracudas Booster Club.
The precise number and amount of the scholarships awarded each year will be determined by the Scholarship
Committee of the Barracudas Booster Club. It is anticipated that two scholarships, each in the amount of $1,500, will
be awarded each year.
Funding for the scholarships shall be from revenues generated by the Barracudas Booster Club through hosting swim
meets and booster dues.
All funds to be distributed shall be paid directly to the recipient upon proof of registration for a minimum of 12
semester credits (or a full-time equivalent). The scholarship is not renewable.

The awarding of the scholarships will be at the discretion of the ICAC coaching staff and will be based on the

Applicant must be a current member of Inland Coastal Aquatic Club and have been a member of
Inland Coastal Aquatic Club for at least three years, as of December 1, 2013. Further, applicant must
be current on all fees owed to Inland Coastal Aquatic Club and Barracudas Booster Club.
Applicant must have applied for admission to any public or private institution of higher learning,
including community colleges.
Applicant must have demonstrated some form of team support and/or leadership, and must have a
reputation for excellent sportsmanship.
Applicant must have demonstrated a high level of dedication to growing as an athlete.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS FEBRUARY 15, 2014. All applications must be received at the above address
by that date. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than March 15, 2014.
