Academics, Accountability, Achievement School Psychologist Support Duties and Responsibilities for Cluster 1 and 2 Direct Services Psychological Evaluations - Initial DES and 504 Evaluations (60-day timeline) -Out-of-State Move-ins (60-day timline) - Reevaluations (3 years from last triennial evaluation) Counseling (Individual and Group) -Provide short-term solution foucsed or brief counseling with individuals, groups, and families -Conduct parent groups on how to help students who have academic and/or behavior concerns Tier 3: Student Support Team Training Tier 4: 504 Other Support Services - RTI Teacher Training -Provide 504 training to schools Risk Assessment -Tier 3: SST Chair Training -Assist with initial identification, evaluation, eligibility, and development of accomodation plans to provide access -Develop School Safety Plans -Aimsweb Computer Training for Tier 2 and Tier 3 -Intervention Development Training -Tier 3 Assessment training Meetings -Attend Tier 2 meetings to review student progress at school request -Attend Tier 3: SST meetings at school request -Faciliate meetings at the school level to troubleshoot the Tier 3: SST and Initial Referral processes Consultation -Academic -Behavioral-Emotional -Parent -Attend 504 eligibility meetings -Attend 504 annual reviews -Attend 504 manifestation determinations Tier 4: Special Education -Conduct Reevaluation Reviews -Attend Manifestion Determinations -Support initiatives implemented by the Division of Exceptional Students to address compliance and disproportionality. -Response-To-Intervention -Attend Eligibility Meetings -Tier 3: SST and Tier 4: 504 -Attend IEP Meetings -Community Resources (Juvenile Court, Hospitals, Mental Health, etc) -Conduct interviews, provide interventions, and follow-up with students that are at-risk of harming themselves or others Crisis Intervention -Intervene and address the needs of individuals (i.e., students, school personnel, parents) experiencing traumatic events of all degrees through crisis response and counseling.
