Skin Team Initiative 2009-Current

I am a member of a hospital wide program for skin and wound care education. I actively discuss proper skin treatment and equipment for patients, collect data and provide resources and education to my unit regarding skin care.

Hand Hygiene Education 2009-Current

I anonymously collect data regarding the percentage of current hand washing on the unit. I then submit the data to a hospital wide program. I then continue to reinforce the importance of hand washing and provide education to staff members.

Poster Presenter at the Spotlight on Critical Care Conference, Springfield, VA October 2011

Developed a poster presentation on the importance and value of the use Intra-abdominal hypertension measurement in the Pediatric Intensive Care patient.
