Leaf Notebook Rubric
In this class, you will be responsible for a leaf notebook. The notebook must consist of 15 tree species
and 5 shrub/vine species. A list of suggested species is attached to the rubric. Many of these species
are found on campus and will be picked up during our class. Bonus points may be given for up to 10
extra species for a total of 5 points per species. Bonus specimens must be a tree, shrub or vine. No
grasses or flowers. Your notebook will be graded for 20 SAE Hours upon the following rubric:
