School Readiness Curriculum
School Readiness providers must obtain & implement a curriculum from the School Readiness Approved Curricula list pursuant to
Section 1002.82(2)(I) Florida Statute.
If your program uses more than one curriculum, or you use different curricula for different age groups, at least one of the curricula
you are using must be on the approved list. You must also implement a character development curriculum if your selected
curriculum does not have a character development component.
If the curriculum edition/year you use is not shown on this list or the curriculum edition/year you use is not for the age range shown
on the list, you must purchase and implement a curriculum from the approved list for each age group you serve, birth through four
(4) years old. School Readiness providers must implement curricula for each age served. For example, if a provider only serves
children ages 2-4, then curricula that is designed for that age range or those specific ages is required. The provider is not required to
obtain curriculum for ages it does not serve.
