Disease Surveillance Programme under National Health Mission, Telangana on contractual basis with
monthly remuneration as noted against the posts as per SH &FW Society terms and conditions .Lower

i. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the scheme. Canvassing in any form

TERMS OF REFERENCE
State Epidemiologist :Qualification:
In order of preference either of the below:
i) Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine /
Public Health or Epidemiology (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE etc)
ii) Any Medical Graduate with 3 years experience in Epidemiology / Public Health
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in issues related to Public Health Programmes or
Epidemiology.
Age:
44 years or below (in exceptional cases age upto 44 years may be considered)
Remuneration:
Rs. 45,000/-
State Microbiologist :Qualification:
In order of preference either of the below:
i) Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology,
Virology, Pathology and other lab sciences)
ii) Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in clinical laboratory sciences
iii) M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology with one year experience in clinical laboratory services
Experience:
i) Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Medical Microbiology.
ii) Experience of working in public health systems, implementation of laboratory quality
assurance systems, assessing and organizing training programs and proven ability for
planning and undertaking operational research would be desirable.
Age:
44 years or below (in exceptional cases age up to 44 years may be considered)
Remuneration
1. Those with Medical Graduation Rs. 35,000
2. Those with Other Qualifications Rs. 15,000/- to 25,000/-
State Entomologist
Qualification:
M. Sc. (Zoology) with entomology as one of the subjects
Experience:

Rs.45,000/State Veterinary Consultant:Qualification & Experience




A post Graduate Veterinary degree in Veterinary Public Health Veterinary Epidemiology
or Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Microbiology or Veterinary Pathology.
Three years experience in Veterinary Public or Veterinary Epidemiology or Animal
Health.
Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council under Indian
Council Act, 1984.
Five Years experience in Veterinary Public Health or Veterinary Epidemiology or Animal
Health.
Desirable:

Board Knowledge and understanding of animal disease Surveillance system,
epidemiology including diseases of Public Health importance.




Excellent skill in data analysis in filed epidemiology
Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
Willing to travel extensively within state
Proficient in computer applications (MS-Word, Excel, and Power Point),email and
internet etc.
Age: Not More than 44 years .
