Circular by the Government of Yemen for the Allowance of the Vessels for Entering Yemeni Ports

In order to expedite the procedures of relief and the entry of vessels to the

Yemeni Ports, the Operations Unit of the Higher Committee for Relief demands the compliance with the following procedures:

General Conditions:

Compliance with filling the form of Allowance Application for an adequate lead time of not less than one week as of the date of the vessel’s entry.

Priority shall in this phase be given for food stuffs, medical supplies and relief supplies.

Shipping Companies shall be responsible for transportation of individuals, goods or materials not included in the Application.

Compliance with the time phased schedule recorded in the Entry

Application Data.

Special Conditions for Commercial and relief Vessels:

 Flying and showing the flag of the vessel’s country.

Responding to the calls of the Alliance Ships at the International Channel

16 VHF and receive communication instructions.

Ensure operating the Identification System (AIS) throughout the sailing period, particularly when approaching the regional waters of the Republic of Yemen and throughout the period of remaining in the Port.

Disclosing the Entry Permission Number given to them by the

Evacuation and Humanitarian Operations.

Non-Objection of the visiting and searching operations by the Alliance

Ships.
