1. Background
School of Art & Design is one of the largest faculties at Auckland University of Technology
(“AUT”). Like any other faculty, School of Art & Design also has some specific application
needs to serve their students and the academic staff. These applications are administered
and maintained by the faculty and are hosted by ICT Services.
This document shares the technical information of an important Server exclusively used by
School of Art & Design - popularly known as Arden server (the actual name is Adore server).
1.1.
STAKEHOLDERS
The following stakeholders have been identified for “Arden Server”.

3. Websites in “Arden” Server
“Arden” server is exclusively used by School of Art & Design to host various websites. Some
of the websites use MySQL database system. All these services are hosted within Adore
virtual server. The technical information is covered under section 2.0 of the document.
The section gives a snapshot of all the websites created and supported by School of Art &
Design, and hosted in the Adore server. Depends on the website requirement the websites
may use Word press, Coppermine, Bulletinboard, Tikiwiki, etc (CMS), and some of the
required modules from the respective software.
