All exhibits to be displayed on the smallest white paper plate or
sheet of white paper they will fit on, unless otherwise stated.
1. Apples (eating) x 3

fruit, salad. This class is judged on overall looks and

Flowers & Plants - The MCL Vase
20.Single Rose (in a suitable container)
21.Perfect blooms x 3 in a suitable container (all the same
type of flower)
22 3 perfect blooms of dahlias

24 Up to 3 stems of a berried shrub (all the same shrub)
25 Posy of flowers for a child bridesmaid
26 .Arrangement of flowers (max size 10" x10")
27 An arrangement of herbs, needs to look and smell good
(can be cut and tied, growing in a pot or anything else)

31 The imaginative re-use of an old/broken item as a plant
container. Any plants/materials may be used

35 Any type of sandwich sponge cake
36 Any type of fruit cake, without marzipan or icing (nuts/
dried fruit decoration permitted)

40 Scones x 6 (these maybe plain, cheese, fruit or your own
invention)

Children's Classes
These classes are for children under the age of 11.
52.Miniature garden in a container maximum size 23cm x 37cm
(size of a seed tray)
53.Vegetables/fruits made into an animal, person or other shape
54 A picture made with petals/leaves/twigs, etc
55 Any fruit or vegetable grown by the child
56 Cake/biscuit decorated by a child

Photography
61. Photography maximum of 3 per entry
In the Arts and Craft section there will be 3 age categories being
under 11's, 11-19 years and adults. At this stage it depends on
how many extra sponsors we get as to whether it will be one
trophy for the whole section or for each class.
Show Opens at 2:00pm, prize presentation 4:00pm
followed by auction of donated produce, raffle and
refreshments available.

