examination that help determine the nature of the illness or injury.
Veterinary technicians preform and maintain anesthesia and
administer medication, fluids and blood products as the veterinarian
ask. They help the Veterinarian a lot.
Degree: To become a certified veterinary technician you must attend
a two-year ARMA or CRMA. There are primarily two levels of
education and training for entry to this occupation: a 2-year
program for veterinary technicians and a 4-year program for
veterinary technologists.

Work environment: While people who love animals get

technicians experienced a work-related injury and illness rate
that was much higher than the national average. At times,
veterinary technicians must clean cages and lift, hold, or restrain
animals, risking exposure to bites or scratches. These workers
must take precautions when treating animals with germicides or
insecticides. The work setting can be noisy.
