By the investor Applying for industrial land
Documents must be attached To the application form
1. IDA initial approval of the project
2. Payment of the application form fees per meter square with a minimum 2000 EGP and
maximum 10000 EGP
3. In case of applying for the land through an agent the power of Attorney paper must
be submitted and be valid for 3 months and explain that the agent can deal with the
permit of the owner regarding land allocation issues

Needed documents to be submitted before the letter of Guarantee
1. In case of an e existing companies, attach a copy of the company memorandum of
incorporation and the articles of association issued by General Authority For
Investment &Free Zone
2. In case of a company under corporation submit the founders authorization to an
agent and power of attorney
3. Letter of guarantee must be submitted within 15 days from land allocation
receiving land allocation letter by IDA
The value of letter of guarantee calculated as follows :

New Beni Suef City / New Assiut / New Sohag 100 EGP per square meter

Salehia city/ Sadat / Borg Al Arab / Ataqa, Suez 200 EGP per square meters.

Letter of guarantee can be submitted in cash or by check or a bank guarantee
More than one piece of interconnected lands can be
allocated for one company
1. By submitting the letter of guarantee (Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday) you will receive the Allocation letter by the
Thursday of the same week
2. By submitting the letter of guarantee (Wednesday,
Thursday,) you well receive the Allocation Letter by
Monday of following week

Approved the following
1- That I have never obtained any industrial land unutilized till now in any industrial city and in case of proving the
opposite, the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) has the right to cancel land allocation without prior notice or
notification.
2. Not to dispose of the allocated land or part of it without IDA's approval and settlement of dues till the date of
submitting the application and also payment of all standard costs.
3. I'm not working in government or public sector or business or assemblies and have not worked as a lawyer and Ihave
reached the legal age (21 years).
4. I declare that the address in the land application is my legal address and that any notifications sent at this address, have
their legal effects against me and I don't have the right to object unless if I notified IDA officially by the other address.
5. To submit an unconditional and renewable one-year validity Guarantee Letter in favor of the industrial zone
management in the governorate, with the rules of the Authority, which is released in part according to the following
schedule?

25% after obtaining a license to buildings on an area of not less than 40% of the total area of the project or
according to the structural rates of industrial activities with the private nature

25% after completion of the foundation construction of the project by 40% of the total land area or according to
the structural rates of industrial activities with the private nature

25% after completion of the construction project by 100% completion

25% after obtaining the industrial register (permanent / temporary).
The letter of Guarantee will be called partially with the same percentages that is mentioned in above schedule
if the investor didn’t complete constructions according to this schedule
6. Submit all the needed document in case that the company is (under incorporation/ or already existing company)
before receiving the allocation letter
7. Make advance payment to the Governorate office in order to issue the allocated piece of land within the period
prescribed by IDA
8. I am obliged to comply with the environmental conditions especially those related to the industrial sewage treatment
and pollution and also the industrial security conditions and providing the establishment with pollution prevention units.
9. I am also obliged not to change the activity for which the land was allocated unless after IDA's approval.
10. To submit the building license documents to the competent administrative authority within 3 months from the date of
the land take-over and to notify IDA about completing the infrastructure to release the Guarantee Letter.
11. Within a maximum period of 6 month the investor must secure the building license from the responsible authority
upon informing the IDA that the building license has been secured IDA well release a percentage of the Guarantee Letter
12.To complete the foundation works within a maximum of 12 month from the date of Land Allocation by IDA
13.To complete the construction work within a maximum of 24 month from the date of land allocation by IDA
14To complete the industrial project and receive IDA either the temporary or permanent industrial license within a
maximum of 36 month from the date of land allocation by IDA
15. In case of violating any of the above-mentioned terms, it will be considered as a reservation waiver and IDA has the
right to cancel allocation without prior notice or notification or bring a judicial case against me.
16. My signature on this declaration and undertaking is regarded as acceptance on my side of these conditions without
prejudice to IDA's right to claim compensation. I do not also have the right to claim any costs spent
