Year 3 & 4 Warwick Castle ‘Science Fair’ Visit - Wednesday 20th April 2016
Year 3 and 4 children will be visiting Warwick Castle on Wednesday 20th April 2016 as it is National Science Week. The
children will have the opportunity to explore investigations and develop an understanding of science in the real world. As
the Science Fair is in Warwick Castle it is also a great opportunity to visit a great castle and imagine being back in the
times.
The children will be departing by coach at 9.00am (so please ensure that your child is in school on time) and returning to
school at approximately 4.30pm, but please be patient if we arrive a little later due to traffic.
As it is a school visit, children need to wear full school uniform and sensible foot wear. Please ensure you send your child
with a packed lunch and drinks. If your child is entitled to free school meals and you still wish to be provided with one on
this day please inform the office beforehand as one will not be provided automatically.
We are asking for a contribution of £15.00 per child towards the cost of the outing which includes admission, coach travel
and insurance. Please complete the slip below giving permission for your child to attend and send in a clearly marked
envelope with the correct money by Monday 22nd February 16. Please refer to our Charging Policy for further details.
