What aspects of a state are important when trying to promote that state?
Create a tri-board to show case the economy, geographic features, and tourist attractions of each state
Each learner will give an oral presentation accompanied by a tri-board and other product.
L & M Advertising Agency has requested an ad package to “sell” your state to see if a manufacturing
company would want to locate in your state.
* Learners will select his/her state
*Learners will depict history of their state using at least 4 identifying state representations, such as state bird,
state flower, state tree, state motto, state flag
*Learners will create a map of their state showing important geographic features, capital, important cities,
area, population, average temp , map key and a compass rose.
*Learners will complete a graphic (economy quilt) showing the important economic features of their state, as
well as researching practices of the state regarding business.
*Learners will create a tourist brochure detailing a major tourist attraction.
