The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) St. Louis Section, is proud to be hosting the 2017 Region i
Conference February 24-25, 2017. We look forward to welcoming up to 250 professional and collegiate
members to St. Louis from the Region i states of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and
Wyoming.
The Annual Region i Conference supports diversity in STEM, offers networking opportunities, and
provides personal, professional, and SWE development. The 2017 conference theme is “Engineer like a
Girl”. We want to support the conversation of women in engineering, and discuss the obstacles that
women face in the workplace. Recognizing unconscious biases and managing culture change from all
levels is a difficult task, but iCON17 strives to give participants the tools to be successful, to provide
answers to the hard questions, and to educate the work force about the challenges minorities face in
engineering. We will provide the conference attendees with the ability to combat biases and
stereotypes, and the confidence to say “I can engineer like a girl”.
In order to host a successful and impactful conference for attendees, we need your assistance. As a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization, financial support and participation from corporations such as yours
are crucial to our ability to deliver a quality conference. As a sponsor, you will have access to talented
and diverse engineers from 22 universities and 9 professional sections in Region i. In addition, as a
corporate sponsor, you have the opportunity to provide session speakers, displays, career fair recruiting,
and logo items to promote your company. We invite you to be part of this exciting event and share your
commitment by sponsoring this conference.
There are many ways to participate in the conference and support SWE. There are five levels of full
sponsorship opportunities. If a full sponsorship is not an option, we also have a la carte options for
participating through the Career Fair, in-kind donations, and advertising. These are described on the
following pages. We require confirmation of donations by December 1, 2016, with all promised funds
received by January 20, 2017. If you require multiple payment installments between now and then, we

IN-KIND DONATIONS:
Any company wishing to donate door prizes and/or in-kind gifts for raffles, etc. will be recognized as a
provider of prizes in the conference program. Large quantity giveaways will be added to the tote bags
that attendees receive at registration. These items featuring your company’s logo are a great way to
have your company’s name distributed to all conference attendees.

CLARIFICATIONS:
- One conference registration includes attendance to all speaker sessions and ticket for all meals.
Hotel, transportation, tours, etc. are not included.
- All payments received are nonrefundable.
- SWE St. Louis will be responsible for the planning, production, and on-site supervision of all
sponsored events.
- High-resolution logos are requested in color and in black & white versions in .png and .jpg
formats. Color logos will be used whenever possible; however, we reserve the right to use black
& white logos if necessary.
- Advertising for the conference brochure is requested to be print ready.
- Size of the company name and logo on website will be dependent on space available and
sponsorship level.
