I can use a table to track changes with my plant. I can read a table and report back to my class to show how the resources I give the plant affect the plant. Materials Any seed you’d like to grow (typically using a seed packet) Potting Soil A container to plant the seed A ruler Procedure 1. Put soil in the container. 2. Follow the instructions on the seed packet to plant at least 4-5 seeds (more if you’d like). 3. Add water. 4. Record what the container looks like on the record sheet attached. 5. Place your container in a sunny spot. 6. Check your container daily for growth and moisture. If the soil seems dry, water it! 7. When the seed(s) have sprouted, record it! a. Measure the plant. 8. Every 4 – 6 days, record your plant’s observations. 9.
