(Tick accordingly if comply, else provide details)
1.
Functional Requirements
HEPA Filters shall be provided for ATMOSPHERE Air purifier Units.
Filters provide a cleaner indoor air quality environment or improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and allow
effective removal of dust, lint, pollens, spores and many other common particulate contaminants.
Air filtration is almost always present in order to provide clean dust-free air to the building occupants.
2.
General Requirements
HEPA filters that the air in a room and reduces the level of particulates, odors, formaldehyde and
dioxin within that room. It works by cleaning the room air to a point where the contaminant level
stabilizes to a new reduced level

Made of enhanced, non-woven, melt-blown polypropylene.
High efficiency particle arrest or (HEPA) rated, HEPA is a performance standard for particle
filters.
To achieve true HEPA rating, a particle filter needs to capture 99.97% of 0.3 micron-sized
particles that are drawn into it at rated airflow. Atmosphere exceeds this requirement by
eliminating 99.99% of particle contaminants between 0.009 microns and larger that were
drawn into the system, not just the filter media.
To be individual tested, labeled and certified to have an efficiency of not less than 99.97%
when challenged with a dioctylpthalate smoke consisting of thermally generated particles that
are 0.3 micrometers in size.
To effectively remove 7 classes containing 80 different particle contaminants such as
airborne allergens, bacteria, fungal spores, pollen, viruses, minerals including asbestos, and
radon decay products.
To effect the trapping micro-particles.
To provide an extremely ling filter with high particle removal rate and minimal maintenance.
To allow high airflow, which reduce electricity consumption and noise.

Standards
All Filters are tested by an independent laboratory in accordance with ASHRAE 52.2-2007 standard.
Filters are classified meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally
Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) or equivalent of other international standards and also to
meet the requirements for the internationally recognized green building certification system
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) point.
