Electron Beam Monitor Project
MevexTM specializes in the engineering and manufacture of linear particle accelerators for use in
medical product sterilization, industrial product analysis and low energy particle research. The goal of
this project is to develop a comprehensive monitoring system which will gather detailed information
about the energized electron beams produced by MevexTM particle accelerators. This project will strive
to provide dosimetry information such as physical scan dimensions, energy spectrum, most probable
energy and average energy. These parameters are vital for machine and process validation by verifying
dose and scan uniformity as well as acting as a calibration and research tool.
