All is well in MolPharm and they are currently in the process of planning the teaching. Also they have begun discussing the move to the tower, but 24 and 33 are still in play. Motor Control Lab: The anthropologists have moved out of 33.3. and the lab is now trying to work out a floor plan to include HJ and Jens Rekling. The name of the merged lab is still being discussed. 4. Developments: INF is eligible for 14 PhD scholarships and AG explains how they work. FFO is body of the PhD scholarships given by the Dean’s pool. The centres cannot always keep up with their quota. Only faculty members meeting their full teaching obligation can apply. It can be sensible to split a full scholarship into two or three and apply for further funding from the Dean’s office. The Department has to find 2/3 of the money on its own. The Ydun programme: Women are preferred and there is a lot of money (40 Mkr) in it. ESOF Euroscience Open Forum 2014: The meeting is being held in June at Carlsberg. Everyone is encouraged to suggest relevant scientists. This is dissemination/outreach. 5. Jens Bo Nielsen will chair the next meeting. 6. It’s been a productive meeting. Secretary: Christina Louis Øberg. To-do list: - Everyone: Consider relevant candidates for ESOF Euroscience Open Forum 2014. - Christina: Send out the minutes from the last two meetings again. - Christina: Contact the Faculty to learn more about Strategic Partnership and find out who is in charge.
