My Favorite Sports Team

For this project, you will create a PowerPoint presentation about your favorite
sports team. Consider the following when creating your slideshow:
 Choose a design theme or customized background for your presentation.
Consider using the team’s colors in the background design.
 Vary the slide layouts for each slide. Choose a layout that will best display
the information.
 Use the Internet to help you find out facts about the team that you don’t
already know.
Slide 1: Your title slide should include:
 The name of the sports team
 Your name as the author
 Photo(s) of the team logo and/or team.
Slide 2: Background information about the team:
 Team colors
 Name and location of the stadium/field/arena for home games
 Name of the team mascot (if applicable)
 How long the team has been in existence
 The previous season’s record
Slides 3, 4 & 5: Each of these slides should be dedicated to one of your favorite
three players. Include:
 The Name of the player as the slide title
 Player’s stats—age, position, averages
 Player’s career highlights
 Photo of the player
Slide 6: Players in Action:
 Insert 5-6 photos of the players collage style on the page.
 Include photo captions below each image.
Finishing Touches:
 Add custom animation & slide transitions to each slide.
 Add photos or clip art to each slide.
 Proofread for spelling & grammar.
 Preview your slideshow to ensure that all elements work correctly.
