Simmons Farm Summer CSA 2016

We are introducing a new CSA model
It will allow more flexibility, choice and convenience to you, while still providing the farm with operating funds and a secured market.
Debit Style CSA- it’s Simple! You sign up and send us a check for the amount you would like to spend over the 25-week season by
April 30, 2016. The higher the sum and the earlier you join (check the dates below), the greater the bonus will be. At your first pick
up, you will receive a Simmons Farm card loaded with your total, including your bonus bucks and a complimentary CSA tote bag to
bring with you to carry your groceries.
You do not have to come every week, so if you’re out of town, no worries! Nor do you have to spend an exact amount each week. You
choose from a variety of that day’s harvest and treats from our certified dairy, meat freezer and the other local products we will be
sourcing from our local farm and business friends. You may select cheeses, meats, veggies and any off farm products that we buy in or
value added products we decide to create. Some weeks you may only want a cheese and a bag of salad greens, the next time you may
be planning a large party with a large shopping list. The only requirement is that all funds must be used by the end of the season, as
nothing will be carried into the next seasons CSA.
You will have the option of coming to the farm on either Mondays or Fridays from 3-6pm, you do not have to commit to either
day, and you can come on whatever day is most convenient that week.
Below please find the pricing options for the 2016 Summer CSA program and circle your selection. Remember, you do not need to
adhere to a specific $ amount each week, its simply a guide to help you decide.
$450 to spend over 25 weeks (average of $18/wk)- plus 5% bonus if paid in full by February 28, 2016, 2.5% bonus if paid by April
30. Ideal for the person who will purchase mostly veggies or is away often through the season
$675 to spend over 25 weeks (average of $27/wk)- plus 8% bonus if paid in full by February 28, 2016, 4% bonus if paid by April 30.
For the couple or family with small children who will purchase mostly veggies with an occasional add on of eggs, cheese or meats
$950 to spend over 25 weeks (average of $38/wk)- plus 10% bonus if paid in full by February 28, 2016, 6% bonus if paid by April
30. For the couple or family who loves their veggies and wants the room to make a weekly purchase of meat, dairy or eggs.
$1,175 to spend over 25 weeks (average of $47/wk)- plus 15% bonus if paid in full by February 28, 2016, 10% bonus if paid by April
30. For the family who loves their veggies and will make frequent additional purchases of meat, dairy, eggs and extras.
Keeping with our tradition and as a thank you for your support, we are happy to offer you the
Early Bird discount.
If you submit your application and full payment by February 29,
please deduct $25 from your total before making payment. For example, if you chose the $950
membership, you will pay $925 but with your early bird discount and bonus bucks, you be receiving a
total of $120 in bonuses. That’s bang for your buck $$$!
