Application: Mentor PROGRAM OVERVIEW Peer to Peer serves to connect students to a community and resources through our Mentors. From as little as one hour a week to as much involvement as you desire, we offer many opportunities to engage your community. Members lead and learn from one another as we work to succeed in school, balance our lives, and achieve our goals. Additionally, students who participate in the program have a valuable addition to their scholarship applications and resumes. PROGRAM COMPONENTS Our program can be broken down into its major components: Small Group Mentoring where we meet for one hour a week for professional development, discussions, networking, and goal setting. Leadership training for Mentors who wish to contribute their ideas and lead workshops in exchange for a letter of recommendation. One-on-one mentoring for students wanting extra assistance. Institute for Extended Learning Outreach for those considering SCC.
