Kinblethmont Cottages Terms and Conditions document Booking your stay Please make sure that you have read all the relevant information about the cottage on the holiday cottage website or our own website www.kinblethmont.com to make sure that the cottage meets with your requirements. Please state the number of people staying in the cottage on booking. Please note that we do not allow pets in the Chauffuer’s cottage, the Studio , the Coach House or the Stables. We require a £50 deposit for each cottage for each week for confirmation of booking. Booking confirmation will be sent by e-mail or by post if required. After 7 days, the deposit is non refundable. The balance of payment is due 6 weeks before the start of the let. If the holiday has to be cancelled after that time, we will remarket the property and give a full refund (less the £50 deposit) if it is remarketed. However, if we cannot relet the property payments will be forfeited as below. From 6 weeks to 4 weeks prior to the arrival date 50% of the balance will be forfeit From 4 weeks to 2 weeks prior to the arrival date 75% of the balance will be forfeit Within 14 days of the arrival date 100% of the rental fee will be forfeit. During your stay The period of let is from 3.30 pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure unless other agreements have been made. We will aim to meet you on the day of your arrival to check you have all you need. Please call me on 07928 601757 when you are near, I will leave the front door unlocked for you however so you can let yourself in if for some reason we cannot meet you when you arrive. The number of people staying in the cottage must not exceed the number agreed to on booking. There is no smoking in the cottage. Breakages – these should be noted as they occur and suitable payment made if appropriate Complaints – We should be notified of any complaints or equipment not working as soon as possible so that we can do our best to remedy the situation. We will not give refunds for complaints that we have not been notified of during the period of the let. We may need access to the cottage for maintenance issues etc during your stay. We will try to notify you and arrange entry at a time that is convenient for you. Departure We will try to see you on the day before your departure to check on departure times etc The cottages should be left in good condition with the washing up done on the day of departure.
