One of the writing emphasis courses must be humanities.
One International or Gender Studies must be from anthropology, economics, political science,
psychology, or sociology. If a developmental psychology course that covers birth through old age is
taken (not at MBC), it replaces Psyc 210, 211 and Soc 124 in the major. In that case, additional courses
to complete the core requirement must be selected; no additional major courses are required.
SENIOR REQUIREMENT N246, which incorporates research techniques, is required in the first year of
the MSN program at Vanderbilt. The name of the instructor and the grade for this course must be
