Clinic
Northeast Kingdom Hockey Clinic is pleased to
be providing a full day clinic. Each day will
consist of 3 hours on ice and 2 hours of off ice
instruction, allowing 2 hours for lunch, dress and
undress.
The clinic is offered to children
mite/novice age through Bantam level. The
clinic is open to the 1st 30 skaters and 4 goalies
to register per group.

Northeast Kingdom Hockey Clinic.

The Northeast Kingdom Hockey Clinic has
been focusing on player development
since 1993. The camp emphasis is on:
1. Skating- Each day coaches will
demonstrate, thru various drills, the
proper form of skating. Focusing on
Edge Control, Stride & Agility.
2. Stick Handling/Passing- Each player
will continue to improve their hands
thru drills that are designed to give
players more confidence with the
puck.
Campers will elevate their
game learning to skate with the puck
outside their comfort zone.
3. Team Concept/GamesWe specialize in small games that will
enable the player to learn how to read
and react all over the ice.
4. Off Ice Work: Featuring strength and
conditioning exercises for the Core of
the Body and Plyometrics. Creating
agility and quickness off ice that
transfers to quickness on the ice.
Nutrition and diet for the athlete will
also be discussed.
Goalies will receive individual instruction on the
intricacies of tending the net by the clinics on ice
goalie instructor, Chris Williams. Goalies will also
be involved in various skating and shooting drills.
Mark Needleman:
Mark
has
been
involved
with
the
North
East
Kingdom Hockey Clinic since 1993. Mark was a
standout at North Country Union High School, and
continued to play at Saint Michaels College, where
he was all conference, and all New England his senior
year. Mark has coached for 19 years at all levels
from Mites/Novice thru High School, winning a
Division
1
State
Championship
in
1996.
Mark
currently lives in St.Albans with his wife Heather
and their 3 children.
Eddy Gaudreau:
Eddy has been involved with the Northeast Kingdom
Hockey Clinic since 1998.
Eddy played for four
years at North Country Union HS leading the team
in scoring in the final two years (1986 – 87).
Following high school Eddy tested his metal in the
Tier II Central Junior ‘A’ Hockey League (CJHL)
playing for the Bears from Smith Falls Ontario.
Eddy has coached for 17 years at all levels from
novice/mites to high school.
Today Eddy lives in
Derby, VT with his wife Jessica and three kids and
continues to coach the youth at Border Minor
Hockey.
Ron Limoges:
Ron Limoges has been involved with the camp since
1993.
Ron is currently an assistant coach for the
North Country Falcons.
Ron is a student of the
game, he works with the goalies as well as the
skaters on the ice, equally important, Ron acts as
the off ice coordinator/trainer and attends to the

Luke Cioffi:
The NEK Hockey Clinic is pleased to add Luke Cioffi
to the on ice coaching staff.
Luke was All State
his senior year at BFA. Luke currently is a math
teacher at BFA in St. Albans where he has been
the girls HS Ice Hockey coach since 2000.During
his tenure, he has lead his teams to 8 Div. 1
State Championships.
Luke also coaches youth
hockey and little league baseball.
He resides in
St. Albans with his wife Michelle and two sons.
