Cryptosporidium and Giardia Outbreaks: Practical Training for Health
Professionals

This brand new one-day course aims to equip environmental and public health
professionals and members of the Outbreak Control Team with the skills and knowledge
they need to confidently deal with an outbreak of Cryptosporidium or Giardia. It could
happen any time and you need to be ready.
This new course presents delegates with real examples of food and non-food
communicable disease outbreaks and leads them through vital stages in the process
from the initial alarm through to resolution and potential prosecutions. This is achieved by
working through a series of realistic workshops plus lectures from some of the country’s
top experts in the field.
