Go Green Galveston (G3) is a curbside residential recycling service for
Galveston, TX. The G3 project is designed to bring awareness to the
environment, create jobs, and maintain the beauty of the Island we have come
to love.

Upon receipt of your request a member of the G3 team will contact you to
answer any questions about pick up dates, time, and items to be collected.

Go Green Galveston (G3) The program cost is $30 a month, you receive 1 recycle bin,
and your recycling will be picked up weekly at your curbside Tuesday’s or Thursday’s.
The G3 project is designed to help bring awareness to the environment, while creating jobs and
providing training to under-resourced individuals here on the Island.
1. G3 only accepts paper, plastic, glass and aluminum items.
2. No broken glass accepted
3. All items must be sorted in separate containers prior to arriving at the recycling center
4. All items should be free of dirt and debris
5. Items not to be accepted by G3 are;









Stoves, washer, dryers or other appliances
Refrigerators or air conditioners
Old gas
Old tires
Antifreeze
Ink jet cartridges
Computers or any Electronics
Automotive or Rechargeable batteries
Cell Phones
To pay and register you can follow these simple steps:
1. Visit our website at www.galvestonurbanministries.org Click the donate tab
2. Enter required information and then in the "donation amount" box enter "30"
3. Select the "Monthly" line in the drop down box.
4. Lastly, in the memo line enter "G3" or "recycling program"
