Based on good citizenship, history of involvement in community, specific goals for
education, and a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a maximum GPA of 3.25.

STEVE LAMPI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP




Scholarships available for students pursuing a culinary career who are enrolled or plan
to enroll in a course of study leading to a certificate or degree at a license or accredited
culinary school.
Preference given to students with financial need.

BROOKLYN CENTER LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP



Two $1,000 scholarships available (one for a male and one for a female).
Must have participated in Osseo/Maple Grove hockey programs through the 2nd year OR
until they became active in a high school program.
Based on recommendations, essay and academic achievement

JAMES BEARD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 renewable annually for students of color.
Must attend post-secondary institution in the State of Minnesota and be willing to
complete a minimum of 50 volunteer hours tutoring children in grades K-8.
No academic requirement is necessary except to maintain full time status during
academic year.
Non U.S. citizens are encouraged to apply.
Based on quality of essay, letter of recommendation, financial need and a willingness to
complete the Service to Children volunteer project requirement.

Two $2,500 scholarships for student athletes wishing to pursue a career in sports
medicine.
Must be involved in interscholastic sport each of their 4 years in high school and have
plans to attend a four year college/university in the US and major in sports medicine.

EMPOWER SCHOLARSHIP



Scholarships are available for ethnically diverse students who are pursuing a career in a
medical or rehabilitation field.
Based on 2.0 GPA, financial need and experience in a community based medical or
rehabilitation volunteer position.
