Educational Processes and Organizational Learning PROF. NICOLETTA MARITAN; PROF. FRANCO NATILI COURSE AIMS To achieve articulate and in-depth theoretical and conceptual pictures in which to place the principal approaches to education. To acquire directions and reference coordinates for the development of the ability to plan and assess educational activities in different socio-organizational areas and contexts. To analyze and formulate critically some of the principal methods and tools in use in educational contexts. COURSE CONTENT From a perspective that is aware of the most up-to-date pictures of epistemological and methodological reference, the course intends to explore the principal approaches to adult education in work and organizational contexts. The principal logic of educational activity and their connection to specific organizational contexts will be analysed, investigating the ways of producing awareness, the relationship with the action and with the organizational processes that are developed by the educational intervention. One module will be devoted to the principal tools in use in an educational setting, through an exercise of breakdown/reconstruction starting from a concrete cross section of experience and from the problems found in it. The course will also take time to consider the principal psychological variables that intersect and suggest the educational action, from management of the aspect of authority, to the formulation linked by meaning, to the processes of restitution and deepening of the knowledge that emerges. READING LIST A reading list will be made available at the beginning of the course and published on the Blackboard. TEACHING METHOD The teaching method will provide for expression and integration between teaching periods, analysis of cases and literature on situations that have been experienced, workshops for experimenting and constructing ad hoc planning and educational assessment activities, applied to actual sets of educational work in progress. ASSESSMENT METHOD As well as a final oral exam, a report linked to the workshop and to the observation and formulation activities performed must be drawn up. Shared group moments will also be educationally assessed.
